Parents and carers

We offer everyday adventure and activity to almost 400,000 young people across the UK.

Whether your child is already in Scouting or is interested in joining, there are all kinds of questions you might have, from what they will be doing to our child protection guidelines.

The experiences your son or daughter has as a Scout are likely to stay with them for the rest of their lives, and you'll be able to play a big part in your child’s involvement through both practical support and encouragement.

Any questions?

A good starting point if you want more information is to get your hands on our parent's guide. Ask your child's leader for a copy.

You can also sign up to our monthly e-newsletter for updates on what we have been up to, as well as how you can get involved in Scouting.

Should you have any questions, you can speak to your local leader, or contact the Scout Information Centre on 0845 300 1818 or email them at info.centre@scouts.org.uk
