Target Shooting using muzzle-loaded pistols, this is a type of pistol where the propellent is loaded from the muzzle rather than at the rear of the pistol.

Shooting must be supervised by an appropriately qualified Range Oficer {NRA RCO} and as a member or guest of a Home Office Approved club.

How to run/provide muzzle-loaded pistol shooting

There are 2 ways of running Muzzle-loaded Pistol Shooting in Scouting. These are:

  1. Scout-led activity - running muzzle-loaded pistol shooting yourself or using someone else in Scouting

  2. Externally-led activity - running muzzle-loaded pistol shooting using an external provider
