Cycling (road)

Description
Road cycling is the activity of using a bicycle on the road. Great for those with existing cycling skills to help develop their road awareness, route planning and expeditioning skills.

Who is it suitable for?
Suitable for Scouts and above. Generally younger riders have poor road awareness so best avoid using the road with Beavers and Cubs.

Additional Information
We Are Cycling UK and British Cycling both provide information on local cycling groups who can help support this activity. Also get involved in your local SkyRide during the summer.
