Camping and outdoor
expert Coleman is very excited to be working with the Scout Association
to sponsor the Outdoor Challenge Award.
In 1901, a young man with entrepreneurial spirit and a great idea began manufacturing lanterns in Wichita, Kansas. Over 100 years later that same spirit coupled with ingenuity is still what guides the company today. A company that began with a flash of inspiration, Coleman has constantly innovated and evolved, seeking to change the way that people have enjoyed the outdoors forever.
All Coleman products are designed by people who love to get outside. We create products for outdoor enthusiasts like you who share our passion and aspire to escape the ordinary. From our iconic fuel lanterns to our innovative range of tents, our products have been inspiring people to embrace the outdoors for over 100 years.
Through this partnership, Coleman aims to support the Scout Association as it inspires more young people to get outdoors, enjoy new experiences and learn different skills. The Scout Outdoor Challenge Award will focus on life at the campsite, not only teaching Scouts how to pitch and care for their tents but also how to cook delicious campsite dinners and use outdoor equipment safely and carefully.
Coleman’s Alex Gremin commented:
'We are thrilled to be working together with the Scouts to enable more young people to experience what life outdoors has to offer. This partnership is an exciting development allowing Coleman to help inspire the next generation of camping enthusiasts.'
