Microlighting


Description
Microlighting is a lightweight form of powered flight, where a small engine powers
this aircraft. The microlight is enclosed from the elements with thin plastic sheild.

Who is it suitable for?
Microlighting is most suitable for Scouts and Explorers and the openness can be off putting to younger members.

How to run/provide microlighting

There are 2 ways of running Microlighting in Scouting. These are:

  1. Scout-led activity - running microlighting yourself or using someone else in Scouting

  2. Externally-led activity - running microlighting using an external provider
