What is a Programme Forum?
The Programme Forum is a support and networking event specifically for volunteers in Districts and Counties/ Areas/ Regions (Scotland) who support leaders with the delivery of the programme for their section. The event is open to volunteers who hold the following appointments:

•    Assistant District Commissioners (Beavers, Cubs, Scouts)
•    District Explorer Scout Commissioners
•    District Scout Network Commissioners
•    Assistant District Commissioners (Activities/Adventure)
•    Assistant County/ Area/ Region Commissioners (Activities/Adventure)
•    Assistant County/ Area/ Region Commissioners (Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Network)
•    Assistant County/ Area/ Region Commissioners (International)
•    Deputy District/County Commissioners who manage the above roles or who have a role in supporting programme delivery

The agenda for this Programme Forum has been created with feedback from Regions/ Nations as to which workshops are most relevant for the current issues facing Scouting in each Region and Nation. The morning session will feature a whole group session where we will be looking at the tools needed for you to be successful in your programme support role and how you can support The Scout Association’s ‘Beyond 2018’ strategy.

The agenda for the afternoon will include a number of workshops that have been tailored to each Region and Nation.
More details on the workshops can be found here. We will also be looking at how supporter roles can help Section Leaders with the delivery of some of the areas leaders often find more challenging in the Scout Programme. There will be opportunities to try out some activities and network too.

We hope to see you there!
