Waterskiing has a venerable history, and has developed into a sport that can be enjoyed in a number of ways: on the sea or on inland waters, behind a towboat or from a ski tow, on one ski or two.
Travelling over water on specially-designed waterskis whilst being towed by a power boat results in a wet but enjoyable activity.
Waterskiing is one of the most exhilarating ways to enjoy the sea, but you'll need to take a few plunges on the way to perfecting the technique. This does require some co-ordination and can be taken to various levels, from going in a straight line to slalom courses and even jumps.
