Bell Boating


Description
Bell boating refers to a paddlesport which uses a stable craft constructed of two hulls connected with a platform in the middle, known as a bell boat.

Who is it suitable for?
All sections, this is an excellent introduction to paddlesports for the younger sections.

How to run/provide bell boating

There are 3 ways of running Bell Boating in Scouting. These are:

  1. Scout-led activity - running bell boating yourself or using someone else in Scouting

  2. Externally-led activity - running bell boating using an external provider

  3. Activity for adult groups - running bell boating for a group entirely of adults
