Chief Commissioner - Wales

We are seeking an individual with passion, vision and energy, who can lead, enthuse and inspire others to develop more opportunities for young people and adults in Wales.

Member of the Awards Board

The Scout Association is seeking to appoint a young person to join the Awards Board. The appointed person will be invited to serve for up to five years until his/her 25th birthday.

Media/PR/Communications Manager – Campdowne 2013

The Media, PR and Communications Manager will be responsible for working with the core team managers in the development and planning of Campdowne 2013.

The DofE Training Scout Active Support Unit is recruiting course co-ordinators to develop the course and materials that support the DofE courses in England for Intro, Expedition Supervisor and Expedition Assessors.

Dof E Training Scout Active Support Unit Marketing Co-ordinator (England)

The DofE Training Scout Active Support Unit is recruiting a marketing co-ordinator to promote and communicate DofE courses in England for Intro, Expedition Supervisor and Expedition Assessors.

County Commissioner – Solihull

The Scout Association is seeking a volunteer County Commissioner to guide and inspire nearly 2,500 members in Solihull. This is a senior management position that will involve managing, supporting and advising an established County team.

Activity Opportunities Project Leader

The National Activity Team are seeking a project leader to help signpost current information and develop new mechanisms of information. The role will also entail acting as a liaison with Scout Shops Ltd to increase affordability and access to necessary equipment. Further, the project leader will develop and implement procedures and requirements for volunteers working with external organisations, and increase opportunities for adventurous activities in Scouting.

Arts Award in Scouting Project Leader

The National Activity Team are seeking a project leader to pilot various Arts Award levels, trialling a support role for Groups undertaking the Arts Award, contributing to resources to support leaders running the Arts Award in Scouting.

Manager of the Scout Radio National Scout Active Support Unit

Scout Activity Centres fixed-term placements

Volunteer at one of our centres for either 3, 6 or 12 months. Our annual intake for the latter two placements are on either 1 March or 1 September, while 3-month placements have more flexible start dates.

Campdowne 2013

There are a number of volunteer positions available for Campdown 2013; an international Scout and Guide camp held at Downe Scout Activity Centre in south east London’s greenbelt.

UK Technical Advisers – Activities

The UK Activities Team is recruiting active volunteers to take on the role of UK Technical Adviser (UKTA) for a number of different activities.

The main function of the role will be to advise, mainly on technical issues as they arise, and to keep a watch on factors external to Scouting that will affect the activity within Scouting.
