Our Sporting Adventure - the winners

Despite very tough competition, we can now announce the Our Sporting Adventure champions.

The Our Sporting Adventure competition was set up to help Scouts across the Country embrace the Olympic and Paralympic values. Over 1,400 teams registered and out of all these teams, an impressive 15 achieved a top score of 4,200 points.

Among the many challenges completed – which included everything from egg relays to canoe building – the judges saw Beaver Scouts venturing abroad, Cub Scouts recognising their local heroes at an awards night and Scouts taking part in offshore water sports.

And the winner is...

The winning 15 teams were all asked to submit a presentation highlighting how they had embraced the values throughout the year, and the Pack that came out on top was The Jacala Crocodiles.

The Cub Pack from Oxford scoops the Gold and wins a residential experience at a Scout Activity Centre of their choice, along with a selection of activities.

The silver medal goes to Newchurch Scouts from the Isle of Wight. They win £750 to spend at Scout Shops.

Congratulations to everyone that took part in the competition. We hope you enjoyed completing the activities and made lots of new friends along the way.

A big thank you to our funders, which enabled so many young people to compete and experience such a wide range of activities:
