New Regional Commissioner for East Midlands

We are delighted to announce that Ben Crabb has been appointed as East Midlands Regional Commissioner from October 2013.

Ben's responsibility will be to directly manage the team of County Commissioners in the East Midlands Region and support the Region's strategic management and development.

Mark Tarry, England Deputy Chief Commissioner, said: 'Ben brings a wealth of experience to the role. Coming from a Scouting family, he became a Cub Scout in 1987 in Oxford and obtained his Queen’s Scout Award in 2000.

'Ben has undertaken roles ranging from Cub Scout Leader in Lincoln to Specialist Adviser for adult training in the East of England Region where he worked with County Commissioners across England.'

Ben is married to Donna and has two girls. His interests include beekeeping, climbing, walking and camping. In his professional life, he is an Assessment Manager for the United Kingdom Accreditation Service.
