Delegates were given the chance to analyse the latest financial figures from the Annual Report and to discuss progress on the Vision Towards 2018.
Tireless commitment
It was also announced that UK Chief Commissioner, Wayne Bulpitt will remain in his role for a further term of office, ending in September 2016.
Chairman of The Scout Association Sir Alan Craft said: ‘Wayne’s tireless commitment has taken Scouting forward during his tenure as UK Chief Commissioner. He provides outstanding leadership, and support, for our 100,000 volunteers.’
Bear Grylls, has also been appointed to a further term of office as UK Chief Scout, lasting until at least September 2015.
Sir Alan added: ‘In the last four years, Bear has championed Scouting on the global stage – and at grassroots. He is a superb ambassador, who has helped raise our profile immeasurably.’
