New Regional Commissioner - North West

Andrew Corrie has been appointed to lead Scouting in the North West Region.

Andrew Corrie has been appointed to lead Scouting in the North West Region as Regional Commissioner. Andrew will officially start his new appointment on 1 March 2014 and will start as designate Regional Commissioner on the 1 January, working closely with the current Regional Commissioner, Chris Harris, to ensure a smooth transition.   

A wealth of experience

Andrew brings a wealth of experience to the post and as County Commissioner for Greater Manchester East he helped grow the County year on year for the past six years; they are currently celebrating the revival of inner-city Scouting for the first time in over 30 years. 

Andrew has a wide range of Scouting experience at all levels, from Scout Leader, Assistant County Commissioner, member of the national Scout Section Support Team and World Jamboree Unit Leader. His work background is in media where he worked for BBC, ITV and channel 4. He is currently Managing Director of a broadcast television and business video production company based in South Manchester.
