Tips for school assemblies

School assemblies are a great opportunity to give young people a short and exciting introduction to Scouting.

As parents are unlikely to be present it is not possible to sign up the children, but instead a great way to drum up interest.

A school assembly should always be followed up by some kind of open night at the Group. Use the assembly as a way to promote this open night and give out flyers.
