Consultation on the next strategic plan

We are at an exciting moment in planning for Scouting's future. We've already had input from thousands of Scouting members, adults and young people, and we've also spoken to members of the public and key decision makers. Thank you to all of you who have contributed so far.

We now have a proposal for the 2018-2023 strategic plan and we'd like to hear your views on it.

Consultation resources to help you

We have created a consultation guide to help you facilitate conversations around four questions on the proposed plan before feeding back the views from your District or County/Area.

Alongside this guide, there are activity suggestions, session plans and presentations to run a session that could be an hour long consultation meeting or your own local Summit17 day or evening event.

Summit17 April 2017

Summit17 was a national gathering for County/Area/Region/District and Youth Commissioners, which took place at the University of Warwick from the 31 March - 2 April 2017.

The event was an opportunity to plan Scouting's future beyond 2018 together, think about our priorities and identify key areas where we can make a real difference. You can now run your own, full day, local Summit17 event.
