How to apply for a grant

If you would like to apply for a grant, please read the information below carefully.

Applications are made digitally via an online form. They cannot be submitted until you have completed all questions and attached the evidence required.

We offer support for training and grants for Sea Scouting or Air Scouting The application form can be found here.

We offer start-up grants for new sections, the application form can be found here.

We offer grants to support young people and adults with the cost of activities and camps and international trips as well as with equipment or training for additional needs. The application form can be found here.

Before applying to the Scout Grants Committee for funding, think about these questions:

Please note: Applicants must supply their accounts for review, and must be compliant with the Scout Grants Committee's Reserves Policy. This requires the Scout Group, District, or County/Area/Region (Scotland) to hold no less than 3 months and no more than 12 months of annual expenditure as a reserve/unrestricted funding.

Individuals cannot apply to the Scout Grants Committee and must make an application through a Scout Group, District, or County/Area, Region (Scotland).

To help us deal quickly with your application, please make you sure you satisfy all of the steps in this checklist:

Once an application is received you will receive an acknowledgment by email or post from the Scout Grants Committee Team. If you do not hear from the Scout Grants Committee within 4 weeks of sending it , please get in contact with the team to see if it has been received.
