Motor cruising


Description
Motor cruising is the use of large boats powered by an engine and include accomodation and toilets. Motor Cruisers can be navigated at sea, on Rivers, canals and waters such as the Norfolk Broads.

Who is it suitable for?
All sections, it is usually an activity for up to 12 depending on the size of the craft.

How to run/provide motor cruising

There are 3 ways of running Motor cruising in Scouting. These are:

  1. Scout-led activity - running motor cruising yourself or using someone else in Scouting

  2. Externally-led activity - running motor cruising using an external provider

  3. Activity for adult groups - running motor cruising for a group entirely of adults
