Activity resources

There are a range of resources to support and inspire you in providing a diverse programme of activities within Scouting.

Programmes Online

Programmes Online is a web-based tool designed to make it easier for adults to plan programmes for young people. It includes activities that can be run on their own or as part of a programme, whether that is a weekly meeting, activity day or residential event.

There is also the opportunity to add your own activity ideas for others to use, so if you run an activity that works well for you, please do add it to Programmes Online to share it with the rest of the movement.

Urban outdoors

Urban environments allow us to try things that we have probably never thought about before. These activities can often take place right on your doorstep and at relatively little cost.

Active8 is a resource to assist with reviewing the provision of activities for your group, district or county.

A Clear Process

A Clear Process is a resource that aims to explain how to access adventurous activities within Scouting and how you could work towards providing more experiences. It’s not a one stop shop for everything you need to know but hopefully it will help you understand the first steps you need to take.
